Jesus Christ was born on X-Mas day. The birth, death and resurrection of the Christ is the most important event in the history the world. People visit church for the worship. This is also about standing and kneeling seeking god’s blessing and his mercy. It is direct relation between the people and their god.
X-Mas is important because it makes us reflect and focus on the important things for life. – Our beliefs, our loved ones our family shows us the way to deal with intricacies of life.
But alas! It saddens me that over the years X-Mas have become more about commercialism. Exchanging gifts enjoying feasts and revelry and less for the reflection.
God’s Son: Let us focus that god’s own son came and live amongst self centered humanity to show them the way to live.
God Incarnated of himself in bone and flesh and suffered to give another dimensions to life.
Isn’t it amazing that God joined us on this curious blue planet to show his heart full of love and remind us that God is always present amongst us.
Spirit of X-MAS : The point students of Smart Start were made to understand that X-Mas spirit is in the selfless thought about others. Time to forgive, prioritize important things and improve as human beings.

The word Christmas is made by combining two words Christ – a title given to Jesus and mass that means converging of people for common goal of prayers. Hence CHRISTMAS.

Children understand Santa more than Christmas. We need to impact young mind by understanding this difference.

Importance of Xmas Activities:
Children decorated the Xmas tree symbolizing benevolence of nature and created ‘Snow Man’ from drums and buckets wrapped in white cotton wool with swanky red scarf.
School has to create memories and I think we did manage to spread the Xmas Cheer.
JBM Smart Start teaches Legend of Santa Claus – Which traces back to centuries to a monk named St. Nicholas born around A.D 280 who was admired for his empathy and kindness. In year 2022, he is 1751 years. He is real person for kids but not for us adults.
SNOW MAN AT JBM SMART START : Basically it is a sculpture of a man ,often built in places with plenty of snowfall. Traditionally typical snowman consists of 3 large snowballs of different sizes put up vertically with red nose, eyes and dangling arms. It is fun activity for children.
Gathering the snow is fun. Every Snowflake is unique. Snow is a magical thing like an angel fluttering from the sky –Overtime it creates a white blanket covering the ground. I think we all must take our children to see snow fall and then make snowman. Although, this year we made our snowman with recycle material.
