No one’s life is smooth it has to have bumps on the road call life. It could be anything and everything you go through in a day to day life. If you are trying to achieve something, again patience is the keyword.
There are many beautiful quotes to inspire you to develop patience, develop hope and optimism to achieve a particular goal or objective.
Patience is a virtue which must be exhibited, understood and developed especially amongst the teaching fraternity.
People who are less complaining and do not fret or lose temper easily are the one who are more patient.
Everything in life requires patience, be its standing in the queue or waiting your turn to answer the question or waiting to be served food or serve food to others.
Patience can take different trials and we need to be really connected with self to come out of it. Patience gives its own rewards and advantages in our day-to-day life.
Teaching patience activities: Patience can be taught only through sturdy examples. Before we elaborate the topic or give similes, Let us consider such indoor activities that can teach patience.

Patience in children : Without doubt we can cultivate ‘patience in children with patience’. If we truly wish to make it practice, then first and foremost encourage thinking over feeling.
We must understand what is expected of us to have patience?
Let us understand when we are able to accept delays without getting angry ,upset and accept the lays without getting angry, upset and of course impatient. Let us set an example for them
• Keeping expectations reasonable
• Behave patiently with them
• Teach them the importance of waiting, why it is important to wait?
We live in a fast moving world today and the virtue of patience is reducing by the day. We have to acquire the skill of responding patiently to the situations, to live peaceful life and that has to be ingrained in child right from the younger days.
Parents may find it challenging but if you are spear heading their growth by letting them be calm in all situations, adjusting and accommodating and developing understanding for others is the easiest route to patience.
Patience in child-
Although some children emulate parents and learn it early. In some cases, it may be very challenging and may take a long at slow pace. Remember our expectations should be minimal from preschoolers, toddlers as they cannot behave like adults and can barely control their feelings and excitement.

Take any school or classroom, you will find different students there who have their own way of thinking. Some students will listen carefully; some are so naughty and seek individual attention. To give your lessons effectively, we need to use class time to take the children from what they know to what they do not know. It is difficult for teachers to see students lagging behind.

• Look after your health.
• Introspect your impatience and overcome it.
• Be a good listener- Teachers generally are good at speaking but not so well at listening.
• Put yourself in your students’ shoes and try to think and behave with your student’s point of view.
• Be active, responsive but not reactive.

Importance of patience in teaching-
This needs genuine time, efforts and sincere intention to make student learn something.
You also have to build trust in this very important relationship which is that of Teachers and students.
One common goal should be understood that all the efforts will be rewarded despite the speed breakers and problems.
While ensuring that your students get patient, you should have to be patient with yourself to complete all the work, be it checking, giving remarks or Anecdotal records. Start making reports small and short. Mini doses of patience in preschool or as toddlers will make them happy eventually.
Encouragement never fails in developing patience; they gain self esteem and confidence.

My question is teachers will do their work but how will you teach patience to your child when he is interrupting you again and again when you are on the phone?
